V from UK : no flags no borders for everybody

Amany: a lot of victims are children and women. We have to say enough is enough and stop the war. We people from Gaza are people and we need to stop everything. I could talk about feeling and it will be great to start a network

Mah: in gaza there are lots of people who have to be protected from Israeli attacks. We need to invite more people from middle East, from other countries too. More of us have contacts. AGAinst the wars and occupations at international levels

Mar:  Offer them the chance to cenvene a date that suits them best. Proposal to make it easier for them by offering a workshops and show them how to use the tool. Proposal for an action on 22feb. Would it be possible / good idea to organise a world day of action for peace and self-detertmination with the call coming from palestine? from grassroutes in Palestine for peace and selfdetermnation this could inspire the world to make a new era together

Amany: criteria for the people who could be involved. We could have people for peace in middle east and ouside middle east Amany need a headline and objectives to these meeting s in order to be able to invite people , in  her opinion we should be clear in what we want to do and then organize and make proiorties on our work ,

Marita: says we should focus on getting in contact with our networks not only inPalestine, but Syria, Iran, Tunis. What can we do to help day by day in practical terms on the ground in occupied places .We have to think about our responsablity too. We can support boicot campaign. We can stop paying for armaments. we could stop giving our silent support to our governments who are responsable. Propose a new meeting well prepared with time in order to contact a lot of people

Ben answering to Q how to reach other movements and involve people in self determintation, this is not only a problem in Palestine or Gaza. The key points: reach Gaza/Palestine, he thinks that the reach out was much more coordinated thanks to the social network, the information was broadcasted live, facts for real from trustable sources.
you could join this list to have all information
We need to try to connect the different movements.

Maher: last days were very hard in gaza. The network would be very good. Could be very good to join different people in different places. Justice against the occupation. International activists

We directly asked them to take position against the occupation first of all but they were not able to offer us an anwer from the assemblies there

 1. Using the white flag proposal
 - Words, any words, words as clear as our call to “End the violence” have not efficacy to stop war or violence because words are actually empty while questions go further than just stopping violence; they go also about how to implement peace, consequences of it for both sides, etc.
Weapons are acting not only when they kill but also permanently by threatening, taking away freedom, and words are not able to face this weapons VIRTUAL effect and serve for dialogue.

-In the end, any efficacy comes only from pressure of a superior threatening force, but not from rational persuasion or understanding. Actually with words we try to rally people around to become a stronger force able to impose others, in this case, to stop violence, but in this way words are actually consigns and not rational tools.

-However, if we raise the white flag we will have an answer to all the questions at once regarding how to live together because, unlike words, a white flag is an object and, therefore, expresses the same for all and only with the white flag as reference words can become rational tools.

This is white flag effect is also virtual.
(Those are also words, but it is a way to explain the proposal, there are many other ways to express this)

Suggested contacts to send the letter to:

1. palestinatomalacalle@lists.riseup.net
2. politicainternacional15m@gmail.com
3. pym@pal-youth.org

Proposal for a letter to the Arab Youth Conference for Liberation and Dignity  (http://pal-youth.org/eventsdetail.php?id=46 ) and also meant to send out – maybe with different intro texts – to other initiatives / groups / contacts

Please add your comments!

Notes:
- I didn’t use any enumerations (like Occupy, 15M, etc or Gaza, Syria, etc) because I don’t want to miss anybody. :-)
- I kept it very broad and general, to leave the specific discussions for the meetings that we are hopefully going to have all together.

These are the maps of all major wars and conflicts in 2012:

we can try to involve groups in these regions

============

Dear friends,

We are a group of individuals active in different recent movements throughout the world, movements inspired by the Arab Spring. We have  witnessed your brave struggles for peace, we have organized solidarity  actions in our own places, but we feel it’s time to do more and to do it better…

First of all, we want to listen to you, we want to know what’s happening, we want to learn what you are experiencing, and we want to hear your plans and proposals for action. At the same time we want to find out how we can support each others’ struggles, how we can build a network for the future, to exchange information and to build new forms of communication across all the walls that separate us now.

We want to let you know that we are with you in the fight for a life in peace and dignity. Since the  the misery in the world and the injustice  that is thrown at us is all interconnected, we believe our struggles can only succeed if we are interconnected.

For over a year we have been organizing our international networks and many different international mobilisations through open and horizontal  assemblies on the internet. We are proposing an online meeting on Saturday 20th of January 2013, to meet with you and anyone who is  interested to join us.
A meeting to bring together people from all over the world (Palestine, Israel, Syria, Iran, …..) to co-ordinate the possibility of a grassroots transnational network to bring wars and occupations to an end, inform about actions and campaigns in different countries, look for alternatives.
Some of us are also working to have an encounter  with the movements of the Arab Spring inside or during the World Social Forum 2013 in Tunis.

In solidarity,

Daniel Seco, participant in 15M Barcelona, Spain
Jasper Teunissen, participant in Occupy Nijmegen, the Netherlands
Mariangela Casalucci, participant in 15M Madrid, Spain
Mark Barrett, participant in Occupy London, UK
Orsan Senalp, participant Occupy Amsteram, NL
Dr. Ternura Rojas from Bolivia, member of the International Network of Occupy activists
