European Democracy Marching to Brussels

About the March to Brussels ( first to arrive Sep 17th with main march to arrive 8th October – more info to follow):

Listen, listen, fellows,

We notice that over all directions of Europe people are waking, they rise against the establishment. From their far spots, they march to reach Brussels. As they run the path, the curious – who are many – demand and ask their selves what lead these people to move. They speak about indignation, about insurrection and self-determination. They aspire, according to their speech, to turn their selves into the actors of their lives, starting from the concept of ‘resettlement of the public, political and citizen space’ .

In each town, in each city they cross, popular assemblies flourish – places where they share the will to make arise a fairer world. Sometimes we resume them as sweet-dreamers, utopians, even revolutionaries. Maybe they are, but at first they are autonomous citizens, desiring to incarnate the sense of the word ‘democracy’ .

They invite those who cross their path to join Brussels in the beginning of the Autumn, in order to construct together this new and democratic Europe, participative and plural.

These outraged, these resurrected, maybe are you… May it be the change that you aspire.

“The tyrants are high  because we are down on the knees.” (La Boetie, “De la servitude volontaire”)

  2. BARCELONA _ ACCION
